Qatar Airways is the national flag carrier of the State of Qatar. Founded in 1993, the airline is wholly owned by the Government of Qatar. Headquartered in Doha, Qatar Airways operates its main hub from Hamad International Airport (DOH). It provides scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 160 destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and Oceania, and is globally recognized for its premium service standards and modern fleet.

Class of Travel

Qatar Airways offers three classes of travel:

Business Class – Experience fully flat beds, direct aisle access, luxury dining, and premium lounge access with the award-winning Qsuite on selected aircraft.

Economy Class – Enjoy comfortable seating, personal entertainment screens, quality meals, and a high standard of service designed for affordable luxury travel.

Baggage Allowance

Economy Class

• 1 carry-on bag up to 7 kg
• Checked baggage: 20–35 kg depending on fare type and route

Business Class

• 2 carry-on bags up to a total of 15 kg
• Checked baggage: up to 40 kg depending on route and fare conditions

Frequent Flyer Programme

Privilege Club is the frequent flyer programme of Qatar Airways. Members earn Avios and Qpoints, which can be redeemed for flight upgrades, reward tickets, excess baggage, and lounge access. The programme has four tiers: Burgundy, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with increasing benefits based on miles flown.

In-flight Services

Qatar Airways offers world-class onboard entertainment via Oryx One, including movies, TV shows, music, and games. Passengers receive complimentary meals, halal food options, and a wide selection of beverages. WiFi is available on most aircraft. Business class passengers enjoy premium dining and luxury amenities.

Check-in

Domestic Flights – Qatar Airways does not operate domestic services.
International Flights – Online check-in is available 48 hours to 90 minutes before scheduled departure, depending on the airport.

Onboard Support

Qatar Airways provides special assistance for passengers with disabilities, wheelchair support, and airport escort services. Special arrangements are also available for expectant mothers and unaccompanied minors, following airline policy.

Refund & Cancellation

Bookings can be cancelled or changed via the Qatar Airways website, call centre, or sales offices. All changes and cancellations are subject to fare rules and applicable charges based on ticket type.
