Oman Air, formerly known as Oman Aviation Services, is the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman. The airline was founded in 1993 and operates from its main hub at Muscat International Airport. Oman Air began with domestic operations and later expanded its network to serve more than 40 international destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa, becoming known for its premium service and Omani hospitality.

Class of Travel

Oman Air provides three classes of travel –

First Class – Offers an ultra-luxury experience with private suites, fully flat beds, fine dining, and personalized services for maximum comfort.

Business Class – Provides spacious seats, premium meals, priority services, and exclusive lounge access for a comfortable and refined journey.

Sindbad Programme is the frequent flyer programme of Oman Air which offers free membership and rewarding benefits. Members earn miles on flights and partner services and can redeem them for free flights, seat upgrades, excess baggage payments, and lounge access. The programme has multiple tiers that upgrade based on miles earned annually, providing exclusive privileges and priority services.

In-flight Services

Oman Air delivers world-class onboard entertainment with personal screens offering movies, music, TV shows, and games. Passengers can enjoy premium dining experiences inspired by international and Omani cuisine. The airline also provides onboard WiFi, mobile connectivity, and duty-free shopping services. Check-in

Domestic Flights – Passengers can check-in online from 24 hours to 90 minutes before departure.
International Flights – Passengers can check-in online from 24 hours to 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

Onboard Support

Oman Air provides special assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, elderly travelers, unaccompanied minors, and expectant mothers.
